Abstract:
An internal combustion engine equipped with an engine main body (10) having at least one air cylinder (2), and an air-supply manifold (4) having an adjustment pipe (12). The length of the adjustment pipe is set such that a first pressure wave (14A) advancing from the air-supply manifold toward the adjustment pipe and a second pressure wave (14B) advancing from the adjustment pipe toward the air-supply manifold have mutually opposite phases at the air cylinder.
