Abstract:
This internal combustion engine is provided with: an internal combustion engine body having an intake valve and an exhaust valve; and a control unit which, on the basis of the ambient temperature at the start of starting the internal combustion engine body, sets the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine body to a predetermined rotational speed, and which, in a period before initial ignition after fuel has been supplied to a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine body, performs a control to drive the internal combustion engine body at the predetermined rotational speed that has been set.
