Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is an Internet of Things terminal migration method for use in an Internet of Things system, the Internet of Things system comprising a gateway and X repeaters connected to the gateway, X being an integer greater than 1, and comprising: if the gateway has not received a first feedback message of a first repeater in a first time period, the gateway determines a second repeater on the basis of a preset link exception handling rule; and the gateway migrates an Internet of Things terminal carried by the first repeater to the second repeater. Also provided in the embodiments of the present invention is a gateway. The embodiments of the present invention can solve the problem of maintaining normal data exchange between objects when there is a fault in the data exchange link.
