Abstract:
An intestinal bacteria count reducing agent according to one aspect of the present invention contains silicon particles or silicon fine particles and reduces the number of intestinal bacteria. By using this intestinal bacteria count reducing agent, it is possible to reduce the number of intestinal bacteria through a new action that cannot be explained by the conventionally-known hydrogen-generating ability of silicon particles or silicon fine particles, which is, in other words, the ability to annihilate hydroxyl radicals.
