Abstract:
An intra-decoding device of the present invention restores a quantized residual modulus, intra-prediction information, and prediction unit size information from the received bit stream; restores an intra-prediction mode of a present prediction unit on the basis of the intra-prediction information and the size information of the present prediction unit; and adaptively filters reference pixels on the basis of the intra-prediction mode by generating unusable reference pixels of the prediction unit. Also, the present invention generates prediction blocks by using and adaptively filtering the reference pixels responding to the intra-prediction mode. In addition, the present invention generates restored images using the prediction blocks and restores residual blocks. Therefore, the present invention enhances image compressibility by restoring prediction blocks close to the original image.
