Abstract:
Provided are an intuitive interaction method and system for enabling quick and accurate control of an AR display for a vehicle during driving, by means of touchpads attached to the periphery of a steering wheel and a gear stick. An HMI system for a vehicle, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a first touchpad provided in a first area of the vehicle; a second touchpad provided in a second area of the vehicle; and a controller for recognizing and processing a driver command on the basis of at least one from among a first driver manipulation inputted through the first touchpad and a second driver manipulation inputted through the second touchpad. Thereby, it is possible to control services of a vehicle AR display by using fingers during driving, so that various application services in the vehicle AR display can be easily executed and manipulated.
