Abstract:
An inventory management system (100) comprises: a loading antenna (6A) provided so as to be capable of communicating with a wireless tag attached to an article to be stored in a storage (4); an unloading antenna (7A) provided so as to be capable of communicating with a wireless tag; an article information acquisition unit (tag reader/writer device (6, 7)) for communicating with a wireless tag through the loading antenna (6A) or the unloading antenna (7A) to acquire article information; and an inventory management device (1) for managing an article in the storage (4) on the basis of the acquired article information. The loading antenna (6A) and the unloading antenna (7A) are provided to the outer surface of the storage (4).
