Abstract:
An inverter control device and method are disclosed. A method of one embodiment of the present invention estimates a rotating speed of a motor, determines a slip frequency command by using direct current end capacitor energy and a direct current end energy command of the inverter when a direct current end voltage of an inverter for providing an output voltage to the motor is less than or equal to a predetermined level, and provides, to the inverter, a frequency command determined by adding the rotating speed of the motor and the slip frequency command.
