Abstract:
According to the present invention, fail-safe control is properly performed even when one of switching elements of an inverter is off-circuited. This inverter control device (20) controls an inverter (10) that is connected to a direct current power source (11) and to an alternating current rotary electric machine (80) and converts power between a direct current and a multi-phase alternating current. In an off-failure state (SPH_OFF) in which one of switching elements (3) constituting the inverter (10) is always turned off, the inverter control device (20) performs, torque reduction control (ZTQ) for reducing the torque of the rotary electric machine (80) by controlling switching of the switching elements (3), or deceleration control for outputting torque in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of the rotary electric machine (80).
