Abstract:
[Problem] To improve the performance of an inverter-driven six-phase motor device. [Solution] Two three-phase voltages of opposite phases are applied separately to two three-phase coils. In a simultaneous switching mode, mutually opposite transistors of two legs on opposite phases perform the same operation. In a four-phase modulation mode, output voltages of the two legs on the opposite phases are fixed to a highest voltage and a lowest voltage. In a series mode, the output voltages of the two legs on the opposite phases are fixed to an intermediate voltage.
