Abstract:
Two rod-like cores (3a, 3b) are applied, respectively, with primary windings (1a, 1b) and secondary windings (2a, 2b), and the circumferences of the rod-like cores (3a, 3b), including at least the opposite ends thereof, are covered entirely or partially with magnetic resin (6) such that the primary windings (1a, 1b) and secondary windings (2a, 2b) thus applied have a specified leakage inductance. Relative permeability of the magnetic resin (6) is sufficiently lower than that of the rod-like cores (3a, 3b). Magnetic fluxes generated from the rod-like cores (3a, 3b) partially leak to the outside of the rod-like cores (3a, 3b) and the magnetic resin (6) as if the rod-like cores have a leakage inductance acting as a ballast inductor. Flux passing through the magnetic resin (6) and leaking to the outside thereof is reduced and its effect on the circumference is reduced.
