Abstract:
 The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-performance ion exchange membrane having few defects and adequate mechanical strength, a method for manufacturing the same, and a module and device provided with the ion exchange membrane. This ion exchange membrane is characterized by containing a resin having an amino group and structural units represented by formula 1, the number of amino groups per unit dry mass thereof being 0.15-2.4 mmol/g. In formula 1, L1 represents an alkylene group or an alkenylene group, Ra, Rb, Rc, and Rd each independently represent an alkyl group or an aryl group, Ra and Rb, and/or Rc and Rd may bond with each other and form a ring, n1 and n2 are each independently an integer of 1-10, and X1 - and X2 - each independently represent an organic or inorganic anion.
