Abstract:
An ion-exchange membrane obtained using an ionic monomer having at least two or more polymerizable functional groups, wherein the ion-exchange membrane has a hydrophobicity index (H) of 1.6 or higher as determined by the formula in a monomer that constitutes the ion-exchange resin in the ion-exchange membrane, and a material fixed to the resin; and a method for producing said ion-exchange membrane. Hydrophobicity index H = Σ{(logP of each component) × (molar ratio of each material in resin)}
