Abstract:

An ionization box-type X-ray detector is free from deterioration of temperature characteristics and of insulation among electrode plates due to an adhesive which adheres a plurality of electrode plates to a pair of insulating support plates. The ionization box-type X-ray detector according to the invention comprises a plurality of electrode plates (2, 3) and a pair of insulating support plates (11) adhered to the plurality of electrode plates with an adhesive (12) that exists only in the joints relative to the end surfaces of the electrode plates.
