Disclosed is an IoT (Internet of Things) elevator monitoring system, comprising an elevator intercom system, an elevator status acquisition device for acquiring and transmitting the current status information of an elevator, and an elevator data processing unit for receiving and processing the data transmitted from the elevator status acquisition device; the elevator intercom system and the elevator status acquisition device are in two-way communication with the elevator data processing unit via a wired or wireless data transmitter; and the elevator status acquisition device is connected to the data transmitter via a data bus. By promptly transmitting the various elevator information acquired by the elevator status acquisition device to the data transmitter via a bus, then to the elevator data processing unit in a wireless manner, the system achieves fault pre-warning, remote process monitoring, voice reassurance for a trapped person, and real-time united action of the functional department, the elevator maintenance unit and the manufacturer, thus strengthening the supervision and management over the elevator manufacturer and the maintenance unit, and improving fault correction and rescue efficiencies.
