Abstract:
An IP multicast route monitoring system includes: a multi-service transport
apparatus (202) located in the multi-service transport platform (MSTP) network
side, for monitoring and transferring IP multicast route protocol PIM-SM messages;
and at least one IP multicast router (204) connected with the multi-service transport
platform network, for routing the IP multicast route protocol PIM-SM messages.
Through the invention, MSTP network can perform IP multicast route control between
many multicast routers.
