Abstract:

Disclosed is a BLDC motor. The BLDC motor comprises: a cylindrical stator having a plurality of teeth on which a coil is wound in order to form an electromagnetic field; and a rotor which is formed in the shape of a cylinder, is rotatable inside the stator, and is provided with a plurality of permanent magnets which have an arch-shaped cross section and have outer periphery sides extending in two directions from the side of the center of rotation, wherein the plurality of permanent magnets are configured such that outer surface portions of two neighboring permanent magnets that face each other are disposed to be adjacent to each other, and the width (Wo) of the outer periphery sides of the permanent magnets is provided to be smaller than the width (Wc) of the side of the center of rotation. The BLDC motor of the present invention increases the efficiency of a motor and reduces noise and vibration.
