Abstract:

Disclosed herein are an IPv4-in-IPv6 DS Lite data stream forwarding method, system, terminal and medium, the method comprising: receiving an IPv4 message from a local area network (LAN); determining whether a hardware acceleration entry exists; in response to a hardware acceleration entry existing and in response to the IPv4 message matching the hardware acceleration entry, encapsulating the IPv4 message into an IPv6 message according to the hardware acceleration entry, and transmitting the encapsulated IPv6 message by means of a WAN; and in response to a hardware acceleration entry not existing, generating the hardware acceleration entry when encapsulating the IPv4 message from the LAN into an IPv6 message by means of a protocol stack and transmitting the IPv6 message from the WAN.
