Abstract:
The present invention relates to an IPv6 subnet range acquisition method and a query system. The subnet range acquisition method calculates a prefix digit number by means of a prefix bit-length of an IPv6 address, calculates shiftable space according to the prefix digit number and determines a subnet ID character, and compares the subnet ID character with the shiftable space to obtain a start network segment character and an end network segment character; the query system comprises an input module, a display module, and a calculation module. The method in the present invention is simple, fast and easy to understand, thereby reducing loss of computing resources; the query system facilitates management of IP address resources and reduces operator costs.
