Abstract:
An iron ore pellet production method according to an embodiment of the present invention: is used for a blast furnace operation to produce iron ore pellets containing a CaO/SiO2 mass ratio of 0.8 or higher and an MgO/SiO2 mass ratio of 0.4 or higher; and comprises a pelletization step of obtaining green pellets by adding pelletizing water to iron ore raw materials and dolomite and a baking step of baking the green pellets, wherein the dolomite has properties such that the dolomite is present in a very fine form inside the structure of the green pellets.
