Abstract:
This iron is equipped with an overheating prevention device (109) connected in series with the heater circuit, and an overheating prevention device fastener (110) for installing the overheating prevention device (109) on the base. The base is capable of being heated by heaters of differing capacities. The iron is configured so that overheating prevention devices (109) of differing heater circuit-cutoff temperatures are selectively installed on the overheating prevention device fastener according to the heater capacity.
