Abstract:
[Problem] To ensure adequate eccentricity during ironing of a cylindrical section so that thickness deviation does not occur in the cylindrical section even when only a relatively small load is applied in the radial direction of an ironing die, and meanwhile to suppress eccentricity so that eccentricity accompanying a large load does not become too large when a large load is applied in the radial direction of the ironing die, and prevent damage to the cylindrical section or a device. [Solution] An ironing molding device for a metal container, the device provided with an annular ironing die 4a for ironing the outer surface of a cylindrical section W1 of a metal-made bottomed cylinder W1 by insertion of the bottomed cylinder W therein, the bottomed cylinder W being installed on the distal end of a punch sleeve 2, wherein elastic pieces 14 in a bent state for elastically supporting the ironing die 4a are formed in a centering ring retainer 7a as a metal-made ironing die support for supporting the ironing die 4a, and the elastic pieces 14 are arranged so as to bend in the radial direction of the ironing die 4a.
