Abstract:
Provided is an isolated converter reduced in size in comparison with a conventional isolated converter and having high heat dissipation properties. The isolated converter is provided with a multi-layer substrate (8) in which a first through-hole (84C) is formed, and a magnetic core (13) a part of which is inserted into the first through-hole. The multi-layer substrate includes: a first conductor pattern (85D) formed on a second surface (8B) at a position overlapping with the magnetic core as viewed from a direction intersecting with a first surface (8A); a second conductor pattern (85C) formed between the first surface and the second surface at a position overlapping with the magnetic core and the first conductor pattern as viewed from a direction intersecting with the first surface; at least one heat conducting member (91A-91F) formed on the first conductor pattern and including a part disposed between the multi-layer substrate and the magnetic core; and an electrically insulating layer (82A, 82C) providing electrical insulation between the first conductor pattern and the second conductor pattern.
