Abstract:
This isolated DC-DC conversion device (2) comprises: a first smoothing unit including a capacitor (C1) that smooths an input voltage; a switching unit (9) that is configured from an isolation transformer (TR), an inductor (L), a primary side switching circuit (7) for the isolation transformer (TR), and a secondary side switching circuit (8) for the isolation transformer (TR), and carries out power conversion of the smoothed voltage into a prescribed output voltage by switching; a second smoothing unit including a capacitor (C2) that smooths the output voltage that has undergone power conversion; and a control unit (10) that controls a preparation operation before initiation of the operation of the switching unit (9). During the preparation operation before initiation of the operation, the control unit (10) controls the switching unit (9) on the basis of the input voltage and the output voltage, so as to adjust the input voltage and the output voltage such that such that an inductor current flowing through the inductor (L) becomes less than an upper limit.
