Abstract:
A one-converter isolated switching power supply that: employs a forward system that makes it possible to achieve high output; and has a favorable power factor. An isolated switching power supply that has: a transistor that has a primary coil and a secondary coil; a switching part that has a plurality of switching elements that are each ON/OFF controlled by input voltage so as to conduct or obstruct the current flowing in the primary coil; a rectification part that is connected to the secondary coil; and a smoothing part that is connected to the rectification part and includes at least one reactor and smoothing capacitor. To prevent reverse current from flowing into the primary coil through the switching elements, the isolated switching power supply also has reverse current prevention elements that are connected in series between the switching elements and the primary coil.
