Abstract:

An item picking system and method. The picking system comprises: a storage device (1) configured to drive, after receiving an item moveout instruction, items to be picked in the storage device (1) to move; a delivery device (2), configured to deliver the items; and a scheduling system (6), configured to enable, according to the storage positions of the items to be picked in the storage device (1), the delivery device (2) to move to the storage device (1) where the items to be picked are located, so that the items to be picked are driven away from the storage device (1) where the items to be picked are located and then fall on the delivery device (2).
