Abstract:
This jaw crusher 2 comprises a fixed tooth 8; a movable tooth 20 that swings relative to the fixed tooth 8 and crushes an object to be crushed between the movable tooth 20 and the fixed tooth 8; a gap adjuster 22 that has a shim 36 for adjusting the gap width D between the fixed tooth 8 and the movable tooth 20; and an actuator 24 that moves the gap adjuster 22 to change the gap width D. The actuator 24 preferably has a pusher 42 that biases the gap adjuster 22 and moves same, and the pusher 42 can move to a waiting position separated from the gap adjuster 22.
