Abstract:
This jet engine is provided with an inlet that takes in air, a combustor (12) that combusts a fuel using air, and a fuel control unit (37) that controls the supply of fuel. The combustor (12) is provided with a fuel supply unit (22) that supplies the fuel, and an injector (20) that injects the fuel. The injector (20) includes openings (30-1 to 30-5) for injecting the fuel. The fuel supply unit (22) supplies the fuel to the injector (20) at a flow rate corresponding to a command from an autopilot. The fuel control unit (37) controls the injector (20) such that, during low speed, the number of openings (30) for injecting the fuel or the channel cross-sectional area of piping used for supplying the fuel is larger than the number of openings (30) for injecting the fuel or the channel cross-sectional area of the piping used for supplying the fuel during high speed.
