Abstract:
The present invention provides a jig for installing snap taps, which enables prevention of buckling by reducing a diameter-enlarging pressing force of a diameter enlarging roller, which also enables a shim to be securely attached at both end faces of the diameter enlarging roller, and which further enables confirmation of a fold-back deformation level of a metal sleeve from outside. The diameter enlarging roller is formed to have a drum-like recessed part. In addition, a substantially upper half of the obliquely disposed diameter enlarging roller is formed as a substantially tapered section and a substantially lower half of the diameter enlarging roller is formed as a round section. The obliquely disposed diameter enlarging roller is also characterized in that the tilt angle thereof falls within a range of 65°-77°, and a recess-like groove is formed in the top end face and the bottom end face of the diameter enlarging roller, and a shim is fitted in the respective recess-like grooves.
