Abstract:
In a method for transferring a job between computers, even if a job identifier of a server computer is not returned to a client computer because of a network failure, the client computer can recognize the state of the job. A job identifier created by the client computer together with the job identifier created by the server computer is added when the job is registered. When the job identifier returned from the server computer is unknown, the job identifier of the server computer is determined from the job identifier of the client computer.
