A joining method is equipped with: a step ST1 wherein one end of a bolt (30) is screwed into a hole (11) in a first component (10) and the other end is made to protrude from a hole (11); a step ST2 wherein the other end of the bolt (30) protruding from the hole (11) is screwed into a first inner diameter (41a) provided in one end of a connector (40); steps ST3, ST4 wherein three plate-spring-shaped engaging claw parts (43) provided separated from each other in the circumferential direction of a cylinder on the other end of the connector (40) are forcefully fitted from one end into an engagement hole (21) penetrating a second component (20), until the engaging claw parts reach the other end of the engagement hole (21); and a step ST6 wherein a tool T is used to forcefully screw the other end of the bolt (30) (screwed into the first inner diameter (41a)) into a second diameter (41b) continuous with the first inner diameter (41a) and formed toward the other end of the connector (40), thereby pushing out the outside of the second inner diameter (41b) in the diameter direction, and causing the other end of the engagement hole (21) and the engaging claw parts (43) to engage each other.
