Abstract:
Provided is a joint block that can be manufactured while achieving a compact size without the use of welding. The joint block is provided with a block body (10), and a closure member (50) mounted into a recess (15) formed at another end side in the longitudinal direction of the block body (10); has an annular protrusion (13) formed in an facing surface (15b) of the block body (10); and has a seal mechanism for sealing the area between the block body (10) and the closure member (50) by the annular protrusion (13) digging into another facing surface (50e) in an area surrounding an opening (12p) of a first flow path (12c), a crimping section (16) formed in the block body (10) and presses the closure member (50) towards the facing surface (15b) of the block body (10), and an engagement part (EN) formed by an inner peripheral part (15a) of the recess (15) and an outer peripheral part (51) of the closure member (50) that engages with the inner peripheral part (15a). The pressing force for pressing the annular protrusion (13) of the seal mechanism to the other facing surface (50e) is shared by the crimping section (16) and the engagement part (EN).
