Abstract:
Provided are a method for short-circuiting a plurality of electric wires, and a joint connector that can flexibly support the number of electric wires. The joint connector is provided with a plurality of electric-wire-side terminals (20) mounted on a plurality of electric wires (10), a plurality of insulated housings (30), and a short-circuiting member (40). Each electric-wire-side terminal (20) is inserted into a terminal accommodation chamber of a corresponding insulated housing (30). The plurality of insulated housings (30) are combined together arranged in a specified array direction. The short-circuiting member (40) is inserted into each of the insulated housings (30) after combining and is fitted to the electric-wire-side terminals (20), whereby the electric-wire-side terminals (20) are made to be mutually electrically conductive via the short-circuiting member (40).
