Abstract:
This journalizing device includes: a storage unit for storing first information in which account titles corresponding to a plurality of transaction types are stored for each company to indicate whether the account titles belong to debit accounts or credit accounts, and second information in which contra account titles are stored in association with transaction partners or descriptions to indicate whether the contra account titles belong to debit accounts or credit accounts; an account title determination unit for determining whether a transaction for which a selection has been accepted belongs to a debit account title or a credit account title; a display control unit that, in the case of the debit account title, causes the debit account title to be displayed in a debit account title display column, and that, in the case of the credit account title, causes the credit account title to be displayed in a credit account title column; an input unit; and a contra account title determination unit for determining the contra account title. The display control unit causes the determined contra account title to be displayed in a column separate from the column in which the account title is displayed.
