Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a juicer that can also be used as a blender, comprising a main body and at least one container, wherein the at least one container includes a juicer drum that can be detachably mounted on the main body to enable use as a juicer and a blender chamber that can be detachably mounted on the main body to enable use as a blender, and the main body includes a first sensor that detects whether the at least one container is mounted on the main body, a plurality of second sensors that are configured to be used in identifying the mounted container, and a control unit that, when the first sensor detects that one of the at least one container is mounted on the main body, identifies the mounted container on the basis of results of detection by the plurality of second sensors and controls the device to operate in the operating mode defined for the identified container. Hence, it is made possible to identify the type of the mounted container and limit the operating mode and functions according to the container type.
