Abstract:
Provided is a key exchange system that generates a shared key for performing encrypted communication between a plurality of communication devices by a key-exchange protocol with authentication using an ID-base cryptography. The key exchange system is characterized in that the plurality of communication devices respectively comprises: a first generation means that uses a secret key of the communication device to generate a short-term secret key; a second generation means that uses the short-term secret key to generate a short-term public key of the communication device; a third generation means that uses the short-term secret key, a short-term public key generated by another communication device, and public information generated by the communication device or the another communication device or public information generated by a key distribution center to generate secret information of the communication device; and a fourth generation means that performs a pairing operation using the secret key of the communication device and the secret information to generate a shared key for performing encrypted communication with the other communication device.
