A kinetic energy recovery system (10), a cutting equipment (20), and a kinetic energy recovery method. The kinetic energy recovery system (10) comprises a motor controller (11), an energy storage device (12), and an energy management device (14), wherein the energy management device (14) is connected to the energy storage device (12) and the motor controller (11), respectively. The energy management device (14) is configured to feed back braking information of a motor (15) to the motor controller (11) according to an energy storage parameter of the energy storage device (12); the motor controller (11) is configured to control, on the basis of the braking information when a rotating component (13) is in a braked state, the motor (15) to convert kinetic energy of the rotating component (13) into electric energy of the energy storage device (12), and to control, when the rotating component (13) is in an operating state, the motor (15) to convert the electric energy of the energy storage device (12) into the kinetic energy of the rotating component (13).
