Abstract:
Disclosed are a kit for manufacturing a customized orthodontic arch wire and a method for manufacturing an orthodontic arch wire using the same. The kit for manufacturing a customized orthodontic arch wire, according to the present invention, comprises: a jig base having a pair of an inner coupling hole and an outer coupling hole formed therein to correspond to tooth positions on a patient's setup model; a jig that has a first head having a first through-hole formed through one end thereof, a second head having a second through-hole formed through an opposite end thereof, and a body connecting the first head and the second head and having a wire ligation slot concavely formed in one upper end thereof; a fixing screw corresponding to the standard of the first through-hole and the inner coupling hole; and a fixing part corresponding to the standard of the second through-hole and the outer coupling hole. A customized orthodontic arch wire may be manufactured by tying and fixing a nitinol wire to the wire ligation slot of the jig and then heating the same in a heating furnace.
