Abstract:
Provided is a paper kitchen towel, the main component of which is pulp, that is formed by layering one or more sheets, with one group having a basis weight of 15-50 g/m2 and having an oil absorption amount/basis weight ratio of 4.5-7.5 OIL-g/g, and that provides a high amount of oil absorption even at a low basis weight. The amount of oil absorption is measured on the basis of a change in mass when a square test piece that is 7.62 cm per side, collected from the one group of the kitchen towel sheets, is immersed for two minutes in a tray containing 1 cm-deep blended cooking oil that complies with JAS standards and is at 23±1ºC, and thereafter is lifted out of the tray and hung for 30 minutes.
