A mechanism for moving a kitchen unit body on the floor surface and riser portions for piping are not exposed from the kitchen unit. Even if the kitchen unit is moved, the openings from which various kinds of piping such as that used for electric power supply, cold water supply, hot water supply, and drainage are not required to be relocated. A kitchen unit body (12) comprises on the top face thereof a top plate (13), cooking equipment (14), a sink (16), and the kitchen unit body (12) also comprises on the side faces thereof side plates (17) for supporting the top plate (13). The kitchen unit body (12) also comprises wheels for supporting the kitchen unit (12) so that the kitchen unit body (12) is movable on the floor surface (45), fixed members (28) fixed to the floor surface (45), and lengths of piping (38) raised from the floor surface (45) and connected to the cooking equipment (14) and the sink (16). Even when the kitchen unit body (12) is moved, the fixed members (28) are always fixed to the floor surface (45) surrounded by the side plates (17). Also, even when the kitchen unit body (12) is moved, the lengths of piping (38) are always raised from the floor surface (45) surrounded by the side plates (17).
