Description:
KITE HAVING ENVELOPES AS RIBS BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a kite, more particularly, to a kite having envelopes as ribs, comprising a body of a kite formed by plastic film or envelopes (gasbags), ribs formed by plastic tubes (envelopes: gasbags) and (a) string (s) of one line or two lines.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART Generally, kites take shield-shape or stingray-shape having bended central parts, wherein they comprise by adhering thin and narrow branches of bamboos on light and durable Korean paper to intersect each other crosswise or diagonally, then by punching piercing holes in the center and by connecting four coners thereof with four strings meeting with main string of one line in center.

The above-stated conventional kites may fly very well in the sky or may not and may be easy or may be difficult to adgust the flying directions, depending upon weight of branches of bamboos formed them, angles adhered them, properties of paper formed them, directions connected the strings and the likes.

Accordingly, it is very diffcult to make the kites only flying very well.

Thus, as shown in Figure 7, a kite improved the adove-mentioned conventional kites had been disclosed, as a laid-open number 92-2173, in the title of"a kite injecting air or gas"in the Korean Laid-open Gazette, on February 24,1992, wherein the kite consists of a main body 1 formed by a gasbag (envelope) 1', wings 2,2 connected by envelopes slantingly downwards in right and left of the main body 1, a wing curtain 2'connected said wings 2,2 and the center of the main body 1, a tag 3 extended from the lower end of said body 1 and inserted a valve 3'for injection of gas (air) inside thereof, and a ring 5 for a string 5'formed on the center 4 of said main body 1.

However since said conventional kite has only the main body 1, the wings 2,2 formed as one gasbag (envelope) 1'without ribs of the kites and the wing curtain 2'on the lower end of the main bldy 1, said conventional kite gives only effects as a plastic balloon or a plastic advertisement balloon (ad-balloon) and cannot give that identical to the kite. Furthermore, because the strings 5 of the kite also are connected on the center of the main body 1, direction of the kite cannot be adjusted optionally and balance of the kite also cannot be maintained uniformly.

In addition, as shown in Figure 8,"a kite of a balloon shape"was disclosed in Japanese Laid Open Utility Model Gazette sil gae so 49-38390 (Laid opened on April 4.1994).

However this also takes a main body 1 of balloon shape, reinforcement plate 4.4 are connected by an inner rib 5 to separate front and rear layer, downwards the kite its tag 3 is attached and said kite is flown by injection of gas or air through an injection hole 6.

Accordingly, this also is difficult to adjust the direction or to maintain the balance thereof as in"a kite injecting gas (air)"of Korean laid open No, 92-2173. and gives only effect as a balloon than effect of a kite.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention is to provide a kite consisting of a main body of a kite formed by plastic film or tubes (envelopes), ribs formed by plastic tubes (envelopes) and (a) string (s) of any one selected from string (s) of one or two.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a kite having multiple envelopes as ribs comprising a body 1 made of any one of plastic film or envelopes (gasbag), multiple ribs 3 of envelope (gasbag)-shape with valves for injecting gas, supporting said body 1 of the kite, and (a) string (s) of the kite consisted of one string 5 or two strings 5.5'.

Said body 1, as shown in Fig 1 and 2, is any one selected from one cylinder 1 or two cylinders 1,1' made of plastic film, in which in said cylinders a supporter 8 for keeping the cylinder shape may be structed in diameter line and said body may be taken any one selected from 4, 6 or 8 ribs in order to dispose symmetrically.

As another example of kite, as shown in Fig 3 and Fig 4, it consists of a body 1 connected multiple envelopes horizontally and ribs 3 of straight or n-shaped envelopes.

As another example of kite, as shown in Fig 5, a body 1 of the kite consists of a double cylinder-shaped envelope 7 that the inner and the outer walls la, lb of the envelope 7 are connected by partition 11.

As another example of a kite, as shown in Fig 6 (a) (b) (c), the ribs 3 are 11-shaped envelopes and are disposed on both sides of the body 1 formed by film, in both sides of said ribs 3 triangular wings 12,12' are extended and on the angular point of said wings ring 2 for the string of the kite are formed.

As another example of a kite, as shown in Fig 6 (d) and (e), in the kite which said ribs 3 are 11-shaped envelopes and triangular wings 12,12'are extended, in center of the body 1 of the kite a picture 10 of certain object is printed, or a cubic pattern 9 of certain object is attached.

As another example of a kite, as shown in Fig 6 (f), in the kite which said ribs 3 are 11-shaped envelopes and triangular wings 12,12'are extended, said ribs 3 extended longer in ladder-shape. As another example of a kite, as shown in Fig 6 (g), in the kite which said ribs 3 are 11-shaped envelopes, the upper end of the ribs 3 is opened to insert subsidiary ribs 3a.

As another example of a kite, as shown in Fig 6 (h), in the kite which said body 1 of the kite is a cylinder made of plastic film or envelope the outer surface of the kite is covered by a reinforcing net 6.

As described in above, in the kites of present invention which the envelopes are the ribs and the body is film or envelope, when gas such as air or helium are injected and it is flown in the sky adjusting direction or angle of the kite by one or two strings 5 (5'), it has merits that the buoyancy of the kite is more excellent and adjustement of direction thereof is more easy than kites made of paper.

Furthermore, in the case of the kite that the body 1 of the kite is a cylinder and the ribs 3 are envelopes, the direction and level therof may be adjusted optionally by the string, more particularly, by two strings 5,5'direction and level thereof may be adjusted smoothly still more.

In the case of the kite that the body of the kite is a double cylinder-shaped envelope 7 and said cylinder is connected by multipll partition 11, the buoyancy is more excellent and is adjusted easily by the string (s) 5, (5').

Also in the case of the kite that the body 1 consists of multiple envelopes and the ribs 3 are straight or lI-shaped envelopes, because all of the body 1 and the ribs 3 of the kite are envelopes, adjustment of the direction thereof is very easy by one string or two strings and also buoyancy thereof is excellent.

In addition, in the case of the kite that said ribs 3 are 11-shaped or ladder-shaped envelopes and the body 1 and the wings 12,12'are film, since it has a conventional stingray-shape and the ribs are envelopes it can fly very well in the sky.

Also when a picture of a certain object 10 is printed or a cubic pattern of a certain object is attached on the kite flying in the sky they may be very beautiful.

Furthermore in the case of the kite that the ribs are envelopes having the opened top, since the subsidiary ribs 3a may be inserted or removed, when the any one of envelopes are damaged it may be changed.

In addition to, in the case of the kite that the reinforing net 6 is covered on the body 1 and ribs 3 of the kite it may be protected from the damage.
