Abstract:
The present invention relates to knee joint exercise equipment and an exercise method therefor, comprising: a seat (1) on which a user can sit; a first support (10) provided to the seat (1) for fixing in place the hips of the user; a second support (20) rotatably joined to the first support (10) for supporting the calves of the user; a driving means (31) provided to an area in which the first support (10) is connected to the second support (20) for rotating the second support (20); a motion change detection sensor (32) for sensing changes in motion of the rotating second support (20); and a control unit (33) for controlling the driving force of the driving means required for rehabilitation according to a change in measured values detected at the motion change detection sensor (32), and thereby the control unit (33) measures changes in motion, during rotation, of a range in which the user moves the knee by will such that the control unit controls the driving force of the range in which the knee moves through inertia generated by the driving means.
