Abstract:
The invention relates to a knife (1,1a), comprising a handle (2) and a blade (3), said knife being a deboning or chopping knife, whereby a transponder (4) is integrated in the handle (2) of the knife (1,1a), comprising a transceiver device, a data store and a control unit. Said knives are suitable for application in the food-processing industry, in particular, in the meat processing industry, for example, in slaughterhouses and butchering operations, for use in deboning animal meat, but also of use in vegetable processing operations.
