A knife wire removing system for an intaglio printing press, comprising a horizontally-arranged rodless cylinder (1), wherein the upper surface of a piston of the rodless cylinder (1) is fixedly connected to a fixing seat (2); the upper surface of the fixing seat (2) is fixedly connected to the fixing end of a vertically-arranged cylinder (3), and the extending-out end of the piston of the cylinder (3) is fixedly connected to one end of a horizontally-arranged crank connecting rod (4); the middle portion of the crank connecting rod (4) is fixedly connected to the fixing seat (2); the other end of the crank connecting rod (4) is fixedly connected to one end of a swing arm (5), and the other end of the swing arm (5) is fixedly connected to the tail of a doctor blade (6); the rodless cylinder (1) and the cylinder (3) are electrically connected to a pneumatic control system; the pneumatic control system is electrically connected to a controller; and the controller is a PLC. In cooperation with a defect detecting device and the controller, namely the PLC, after a position needing knife wires is detected, the system may clean the position needing knife wires in time, thereby avoiding the condition that missing is prone to happening when the position needing knife wires is manually cleaned at present.
