Abstract:
A knitted fabric capable of transporting liquid water over a long distance comprises a fabric body woven by means of at least two different kinds of yarns, wherein the fabric body comprises a liquid water expansion layer serving as an outer garment surface, and a liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer serving as a skin-contact surface, wherein a double-layer three-dimensional (3D) structure of the fabric body is formed by means of the liquid water expansion layer and the liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer, the liquid water expansion layer is a weft plain stitch or a variable plain stitch structure, the liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer is a terry stitch structure, the liquid water expansion layer and the liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer are woven by means of yarns with different levels of fineness, and the water conductivity of the liquid water expansion layer is greater than the water conductivity of the liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer, such that the liquid water is unidirectionally conducted from the liquid water relay storage and diffusion layer to the liquid water expansion layer. The present invention has the properties of unidirectional moisture conduction, can transport the liquid water over a long distance, and has the properties of lightness and ventilation, and unidirectional moisture conduction and quick drying.
