Title:
KNOCK-IN TOOL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/159491
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
There is a need for a knock-in tool which performs knock-in if both a trigger and a contact arm are turned on, and in which inadvertent knock-in operations are inhibited, even if the contact arm interferes with another part when the trigger is being carried while turned on. In electrical control-type timer control in the prior art, a knock-in tool cannot be used in an environment with no power supply. In the present invention, timer control is enabled even in an environment with no power supply. As a result of turning on a trigger (12), a contact restriction member (21) starts to rotate towards the lock side, while rotational resistance is being received from a rotational resistance imparting member. After the trigger is turned on, and a reference time t has passed, a lock part (21e) enters a lock receiving part (6c), turning on of a contact arm (6) is set in a prohibited state, and inadvertent knock-in operations are prohibited. Timer control is performed in an environment with no power supply using a timer mechanism (20) having a completely mechanical configuration such as that above.
