Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a knock-type writing instrument capable of easily and reliably attaching an operating body detached from a feeding mechanism of a writing body to the feeding mechanism. [Solution] The knock-type writing instrument is provided with: a shaft cylinder (2); a writing body (8) accommodated inside the shaft cylinder (2); a feeding mechanism (3) feeding the writing body (8) forward; and an operating body (4) arranged at the rear of the feeding mechanism (3). The knock-type writing instrument has a handwriting transforming member (5) attached in front of the operating body (4) and used to remove, thermally discolor, or hide handwriting written by means of the writing body (8). The operating body (4) at least partially protrudes from the shaft cylinder (2), and is attached to be slidable back and forth and detachable with respect to the shaft cylinder (2) by a magnetic force acting between the shaft cylinder (2) and the operating body (4).
