Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a leaning vehicle that has a front wheel brake operation element and a rear wheel brake operation element operated by a rider, and tilts in the vehicle right direction when turning right and tilts in the vehicle left direction when turning left, said leaning vehicle being equipped with an AEB control device that performs a control different from those proposed in the past. A leaning vehicle 1001 is equipped with an AEB control device 1011 that, on the basis of a margin acquired on the basis of the relationship between an obstacle 2001 and the leaning vehicle 1001, automatically controls a front wheel braking force and a rear wheel braking force even if the front wheel brake operation element and the rear wheel brake operation element are not operated. The AEB control device 1011 controls the automatically generated front wheel braking force and rear wheel braking force such that the state transition of the front wheel braking force and the rear wheel braking force becomes a state transition (1) below. State transition (1): transition, within a range excluding the range in which the rear wheel braking force is smaller than a single-rider ideal braking force distribution C1, to a state in which the rear wheel braking force and the front wheel braking force both change from zero positions to positions where the rear wheel braking force and the front wheel braking force both are not zero.
