Abstract:
Provided is a label applicator that is capable of improving quality and productivity of labeling products. In a label applicator 1, a conveyance section Q1 in which intervals among containers 9 are spread to a predetermined interval, and a conveyance section Q2 that is provided on a downstream side of the conveyance section Q1 and that includes an applying position Pd of labels 99, are provided. Upon the containers 9 entering the conveyance section Q2, the label applicator 1 transitions a conveyance state of the containers 9 from a state in which outer perimeter faces 9a of the containers 9 and screws 31 and 32 are in contact to a state in which the outer perimeter face 9a and the screws 31 and 32 are spaced apart, and downstream from the applying position Pd, conveys the containers 9 to which labels have been applied in a state spaced apart from the screws 31 and 32. In the conveyance section Q2, overturning of the containers 9 due to application processing of the labels 99 is prevented by contact between the outer perimeter faces 9a of the containers 9 or the labels 99 applied to the outer perimeter faces 9a and the screws 31 and 32.
