Abstract:
A laminate body manufacturing method which can suitably orient the major axis of anisotropic particles and align orientation of multiple anisotropic particles, a functional sheet manufacturing method, and a laminate body are provided. This laminate body manufacturing method involves: a step for laminating a heat shrinkable thermoplastic resin substrate and a functional layer containing multiple anisotropic particles and a binder; and a step for heating the thermoplastic resin substrate with the functional layer laminated thereon to a temperature greater than or equal to the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin substrate, shrinking the thermoplastic resin substrate, and orienting the longitudinal axes of the multiple anisotropic particles in the film thickness direction of the functional layer.
